Introduction
The title “Kaido will die in Wano” refers to a popular theory among fans of the manga and anime series “One Piece” that the character Kaido, a powerful pirate and one of the main antagonists of the Wano Country arc, will ultimately meet his end in that same arc. The theory is based on various hints and clues from the series’ storyline, character development, foreshadowing, and fans‘ speculations and interpretations of the narrative. While it remains to be seen whether the theory will come true, it has sparked intense debates and discussions among fans, making it one of the most intriguing and anticipated plot points in the series.
The first reason why kaido will die in Wano

The similarities between Kaido in Wano and Katakuri in Whole Cake are one of the main reasons I believe he will die. WCI presented Katakuri as a figure who had never lost or whose body had never hit the ground.
We all know how that turned out. Luffy defeated Katakuri, who fell to the ground. During Kaido’s introduction, it was stated that in a 1v1 battle, Kaido will conquer because he cannot be defeated. According to Chapter 1037, Kaido and Luffy are involved in a one-on-one fight. Despite understanding that Scabbards had previously battled Kaido, Yamato claimed in Chapter 1012 that Luffy and Kaido were fighting one-on-one. Oda, therefore, considers the match between Luffy and Kaido to be one-on-one. Luffy will prove the concept that Kaido will not win in a 1v1. In relation, I believe Kaido will die in this storyline, dispelling the notion that he cannot be slain. Wano will clear the two falsehoods surrounding Kaido, just as WCI dispelled the two myths surrounding Katakuri. The word myth may not be appropriate, yet it conveys the concept.
The Second reason Why kaido will die in Wano

“In One Piece, antagonists don’t die.” I virtually always get that response when I discuss Kaido’s passing. That’s right; the antagonists in OP never pass away. Just contrast the Pre-Wano Arcs to the Wano Arc, though. Has Oda ever focused on the death of the Antagonists before Wano? Did any of the major supporting characters bring up the villain’s death? Is the prospect of killing the antagonist ever mentioned? No. None of the main side characters mentioned Doffy, Croc, Kat, or Lucci’s deaths. The concept of the main antagonist dying was unheard of in earlier arcs.
How does kaido die in Wano

And for this reason, Wano is unique. The amount of people that discussed Kaido’s death in this arc is ridiculous. Several times, various people have brought up Kaido’s death. Yamato, Yasuie, Zoro, Ace, Oden, and Scabbards. Some of the Important Side Characters listed below all support the death of Kaido and played significant roles in the events leading up to this arc. Even further, Ashura Douji declared that the raid wouldn’t be over until Kaido’s head was severed. Yasuie advised going to retrieve Kaido’s head and exact revenge on the fallen allies. The deaths of the other antagonists had no bearing on the plot. But it’s Kaido’s. That is why, although past arc antagonists survived, I think Kaido will perish.
Will kaido die – The dreams won’t come true

“The dreams of antagonists never come true.” This is a separate debate I’ve heard frequently, although it’s not accurate because the antagonist in One Piece had a wish that was granted. Enel. He got his request to travel to the moon. Will Kaido achieve his goals? Technically, no. You see, Kaido isn’t just looking to pass away. Kaido wants to die grandly. According to Kaido, death completes a person. According to Kaido, a grand death like that of Whitebeard or Oden will complete him as a person.
Kaido Dives from the Sky to die

His introduction scenario is another cue to this. He remarked after crawling out of the hole he dug, “Old Whitebeard did it correctly.” Before passing away grandly, Whitebeard fought many foes in combat that the world was focused on. But, Kaido wants to start the biggest war the world has ever seen because this is the kind of killing he wants to see. And, a conflict greater than the Supreme War, which claimed Whitebeard’s life. He might have also made this decision to travel to Marineford for this purpose. Maybe he believed it to be a Grand Spot to Die. Another indication that Kaido desires a Grand Death like Roger and Whitebeard can be found in Chapter 993, where Kaido said “Roger and Whitebeard did it right” before adding, “Death is what completes a person”.
can kaido die – Heroically

He only needs to jump into the sea to end his life. Because he consumed Devil Fruit, so diving into the water should be fatal. But, Why is he attempting to avoid Luffy’s attacks if he only wishes to die? It makes sense that Kaido wishes to pass away heroically because he is someone who believes that death completes a person. Roger died a heroic end. And he began an entirely different era. Whitebeard died a heroic end. So, after taking part in a significant war, passed away standing, and his last remarks had a significant effect. Kaido desires that kind of demise.
Kaido’s stronghold – Onigashima Wano

Another reason I believe Kaido will die is that, unlike Croc and Doffy, he is not imprisonable. but, Kaido has been captured and imprisoned 18 times. And what took place? He consistently manages to escape. This is good evidence. Kaido can’t stay in jail. And if he gets away, he’ll return to Wano because he thinks Wano is Amazing. He won’t settle for some other Island; instead, he’ll return to Wano and reappear as a threat. That cannot take place. Kaido shouldn’t pose a threat to Luffy after Wano. And if Kaido survived the incident in Wano, the only way he ceases to be a threat to Luffy is if he joins Luffy as an ally.
Conclusion
I am unable to imagine a scenario in which Kaido won’t pose a threat to Luffy without going through a significant shift in character and joining forces with him. And I just don’t think that will happen. I believe that Kaido becoming an ally is “Impossible.” So, In light of all these considerations, I believe Kaido should perish in Wano Kuni. But, Who will murder him, though?
